Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Click "Get Started" on the homepage, fill out the registration form with your name, email, and phone number. You'll receive a verification email to activate your account. Complete identity verification to unlock full trading capabilities.

What documents do I need for verification?

You'll need a government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, or provincial ID card) and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, or lease agreement dated within the last 3 months). Verification typically takes 24-48 hours.

Trading

What cryptocurrencies can I trade?

We support Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and other major cryptocurrencies. You can view all available trading pairs on your dashboard.

What are the trading fees?

Our fee structure is transparent: 0.25% maker fee and 0.35% taker fee for standard accounts. Volume-based discounts are available, with fees as low as 0.10% for high-volume traders. There are no hidden fees.

What is the minimum trade amount?

The minimum trade amount is $10 CAD. There is no maximum trade limit, though large orders may be subject to additional verification for security purposes.

Deposits & Withdrawals

How do I deposit funds?

You can deposit via e-Transfer (Interac), wire transfer, or direct cryptocurrency deposit. e-Transfers are typically credited within minutes. Wire transfers take 1-3 business days. Crypto deposits require blockchain confirmations.

Are there deposit fees?

No, we don't charge any deposit fees. e-Transfer and cryptocurrency deposits are completely free. Your bank may charge fees for wire transfers.

How long do withdrawals take?

e-Transfer withdrawals are processed within 1-24 hours. Wire transfers take 1-3 business days. Cryptocurrency withdrawals are sent immediately and confirmed based on blockchain network speed.

Security

How is my account protected?

Your account is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption, mandatory 2FA, withdrawal address whitelisting, and real-time fraud monitoring. We store 95% of funds in offline cold storage with multi-signature protection.

What should I do if I suspect unauthorized access?

Immediately change your password, revoke all active sessions, and contact our security team at security@pikestead.ca. Enable 2FA if not already active and review recent account activity.

Account Management

How do I enable two-factor authentication?

Go to Account Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication. Download Google Authenticator or Authy, scan the QR code, and enter the 6-digit code to enable 2FA.

Can I have multiple accounts?

No, each person is limited to one individual account per our terms of service. Businesses can apply for a separate corporate account.
